‘Takashi Murakami x MADSAKI’ has proven to be a collaboration made in art-heaven. Japanese born, New York based street artist MADSAKI’s gritty visuals merge beautifully with Murakami’s highly polished Superflat style; juxtaposing one another to wonderful effect. Murakami x MADSAKI’s first collaboration involved Takashi Murakami’s hugely iconic 727 which was reborn as 727999. In 2017, Murakami x MADSAKI collaborated on their first set of magnificent silkscreen Flower prints.
