Takashi Murakami’s Jelly Fish Eyes prints are homage to the quintessential 1960’s Japanese monster movie known as Kaijū. Playful, humorous and a little menacing, the eyes represent the sense of anxiety present in modern day Japan that is often played out in Kaijū. The popular series spawned Takashi Murakami’s Jelly Fish Eyes Movie, which was released in 2013. Takashi Murakami’s limited edition, signed and numbered Jelly Fish Eyes prints are wonderfully executed in his trademark superflat style.
