KYNE Prints

About

Beginning as a graffiti artist in his hometown of Fukuoka, Japan, Kyne’s famed monochromatic depictions of women take inspiration from 80s idols and cartoons, occasional collaborator Takashi Murakami, and the styles of Julian Opie and Hisashi Eguchi. He incorporates his work with nihonga line drawing techniques and Fukuoka’s yankii (Japanese delinquent youth) culture.
